Korea Culture and Content Agency (president Suk Man Go) has announced that it is looking for businesses in character products and the cultural content industry wishing to open on the 'Cultural Content Mall,' a specialized cultural content mall joint-managed with Interpark (president Sang Gyu Lee). When the large discount stores that distributes 40% of cultural content products normally only handles popular characters, 'Cultural Content Mall' is an ambitious new business promoted by the government and a famous online retailer to support small-scale businesses whose sole sales path is the online shopping mall. It's aim is to expand distribution and consumer market of national cultural content products through online routes, establish a good circulation structure that enlarges royalty earnings through creation of licensee gains, and provide a new window for the distribution and the sales of cultural content. It is looking for businesses that deal with cartoon, character, animation, game and other national cultural content products and that wish to start on the 'Cultural Content Mall' on the current Interpark shopping site, and it will go on to expand the product category to movies, drama DVD and game consoles in the future.
