Title Notice of participation and cessation for CPEA of the Republic of Korea

The Administrator of the CPEA has confirmed that the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) participates in the APEC Cooperation Arrangement for Cross-Border Privacy Enforcement as of October 19, 2020. Therefore, pursuant to 8.4 of the Cooperation Agreement, any Request for Assistance must be directed to the PIPC.





The Ministry of Interior and Safety and Korea Communications Commission had joined the CPEA in 2011 and 2014 respectively but pursuant to 8.3 of the Cooperation Agreement, they will no longer be deemed participants in the CPEA.
