No problem, converting to Digital broadcasting by 2013

Korean government has reconfirmed a goal converting to digital broadcasting by 2013.
’Digital vitalizing committee’ conference was held Feb 10th at press centre which was held by Tae-Gun, Hyung who is standing commissioner of Korea Communications Commission. At the conference, 25 people who work in related field such as to MSF (Ministry of Strategy and Finance), MPAS (Ministry of Public Administration and Security), MKE (Ministry of Knowledge Economy), broadcasting companies and NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) attended.
During the conference, they discussed main policy assignment about converting to digital such as *efficient digital converting of broadcasting companies, *public relations for a nation and supporting viewers *supporting for the underprivileged group *supplying financial resources.
It was mentioned that the role and the function for charged broadcasting companies should be considered. Since more than 80% Korean viewers are using cable and satellite. Different views depend on the government departments about the supporting range for underprivileged group also mentioned as a problem to be solved.
